The other molecule that we make that's extremely important for social bonds and emotionality is one that we're going to talk about more in the month on hormones, that's vasopressin. Vasopressin suppresses urination. It's made by the body, but it was developed as a treatment for something called diabetes insipidus, where people urinate excessively, and they actually risk dehydration and they can lose a lot of electrolytes, et cetera. So it causes water retention.
