So progesterone has been doing nothing for 14 days, and now it starts to rise. And actually progesterone is the hormone that's dominating the second half, which is called her luteal cycle.
The evidence is convergent. Multiple independent sources reach the same conclusion, the underlying mechanism is well-characterized, and even the field's most cautious voices treat it as worth doing.

Every Sunday: the week’s new conflicts and verdict changes — and nothing else.

and now you have entered luteal phase the luteal phase is the second half of the menstrual cycle and where that little egg was released from turns into something called a corpus luteum and it secretes progesterone so basically the first half of the phase is very estrogen dominant and the second half of the phase is very progesterone dominant so we see a slight increase in basal body temperature and that lasts about 12 to 16 days
women will have um 0.5 or more degree higher during the ludal phase of their cycle based on the progesterone. So women may actually have a higher body temperature.
