the combination of fat and carbohydrate is uniquely insulin resistance creating and I don't think it creates insulin resistance per se but one of the themes that I've come across a lot recently and this has to do with biochemistry and the Randle cycle and the way that insulin resistance actually works in the body is that if we combine fat and carbohydrates and the source of the carbohydrates matters but generally speaking if we combine fat and if we overeat on fat and carbohydrates that is if we exceed our calories that are needed for normal metabolism it's a combination of fat and carbohydrates we will become insulin-resistant that appears to be the case
