i would say that other than laboratory situations where someone is hooked up to an insulin drip it is essentially impossible to get insulin induced insulin resistance in a human outside of a laboratory setting
The evidence is convergent. Multiple independent sources reach the same conclusion, the underlying mechanism is well-characterized, and even the field's most cautious voices treat it as worth doing.

Every Sunday: the week’s new conflicts and verdict changes — and nothing else.
Native comments, Twitter mentions, and Reddit threads about this claim — surfaced together so the conversation isn't fragmented across platforms.
Bookmarking — the dossier-vs-overview split is the right call. Most of the time I want overview; sometimes I want receipts.
Would love a "what would change this verdict" RSS feed. Sign me up if it exists.
i also think there's a real misunderstanding in the communities in the nutrition community that about the prevalence of insulin-induced insulin resistance i think it's extremely rare in humans and we don't need to be as strict about about absolute levels of insulin or insulin area under the curve
in order to create this in a human you need to put a special clamp on them a you insulinemic hyperglycemic clamp you need to do crazy things to humans you need to pump them full of exogenous processed sugars via their veins to get this to happen
