glucose is a molecule that can be quite high on the blood but it it can't get into the cell unless it it meets a transporter and some of the Transporters are consti of they are in all cells like the brain has a the first uh transporter discovered was named one and then two and three and four four is important because four is expressed in most of our body in our muscles and uh in our fat cells so we need to have these glucose Transporters at the cell surface and depending on the various kinds of signaling insulin is is the typical sign also muscle contraction will move these Transporters to the cell surface
