The major parts of the nervous system of the gut are the submucosal plexus which has the epinemister but it's submucosal plexus and that's in that dense layer of connective tissue and that's the smaller of the two the larger one by far is the myenteric plexus and that is in between the two layers of smooth muscle on the outside of the gut the two plexuses communicate with one another and they both really do get input from the central nervous system and speak back to the central nervous system
