one of the um Medical uses that people have used canabas for is as an antinauseant especially in the context of chemotherapy and so something that typically has antinauseant qualities suddenly triggering a vomiting syndrome is kind of a paradoxical and yet we started off today's conversation with you explaining beautifully how activation of these um CB1 receptors are are homeostatic in some sense the thermostat analogy and you know maybe after you know chronic use there there's some you know the Seesaw sort of get fli to one side get stuck I think that's how most people have tried to uh kind of conceptualize what's going on is maybe like and it seems to involve the insular cortex at least the antinauseant effects of cannabinoids are involved through the insul cortex
