“you could argue and I have argued that it does impact longevity because uh mortality rates uh for the US population are actually in a small state of decline being driven almost exclusively by the death of people aged roughly 25 to 55 where we've seen the deaths of Despair uh increase at a rate we've never seen before so deaths of Despair are now um and and the biggest of the three deaths of Despair so we count accidental overdose or you know that that includes poisoning right so Fentanyl in a drug that you don't think has fentanyl um alcohol rated deaths and suicides so those three are collectively expanding but the greatest of the three by far is the overdose the non-suicide overdose”
