The evidence is convergent. Multiple independent sources reach the same conclusion, the underlying mechanism is well-characterized, and even the field's most cautious voices treat it as worth doing.

we know in humans as we do we tend to interbreed with them and so there's lots of the genes that those of us who left Africa have these Neanderthal genes we have Denisovan genes
