So methane is interesting because it's really high in animal proteins and there's been multiple studies that have shown that um methionine restriction leads to increased longevity. Not really in humans yet, but we've seen this I think in mice and flies if I'm not mistaken. So, if we're trying to make mice and flies live longer, reduce their methionine uh intake, but there there's reason to believe because methionine activates mTor um and reduces autophagy that methane restriction is actually good for longevity.
