there's a law in the United States called EMTALA that requires any hospital to take care of any urgent or emergent patient that walks into their door it's not dependent on giving your credit card when you check-in it's not dependent on giving your social security number and your mom's address and all these other things that they try to collect you don't have to do that hospitals are required by law it's called EMTALA to take care of anyone with an urgent or emergent condition
