Ultraviolet light is a really good example of light energy that's coming from the sun and is in our environment and is being reflected off surfaces all the time. We don't see it. And yet, if it's very bright outside, that ultraviolet light can burn our skin. As you'll learn in today's episode, ultraviolet light can also positively impact us. In fact, I will describe a particular set of new results that show that ultraviolet light viewed for just a few minutes each day, or landing on the skin for just a few minutes each day, can actually offset a lot of pain.
