i believe you're referring to a study that was observational epidemiology that looked at quote low carb diets not ketogenic diet so that was a very significant oversight on your part low carbohydrate diets are defined as less than 30 or 40 percent of the calories in your diet from carbohydrates these are not ketogenic diets there's a very big difference and you cannot conflate the two again this is observational epidemiology and i am not saying that we should throw out all this data i am saying we should look at it in its entirety and with a large amount of caution because of the con persistent insidious nature of healthy user bias and unhealthy user bias
