if i think about the optimal diet for humans if i think about the foods that our ancestors saw first it was always meat and organs together animal fat and then what was after that fruit and honey
The evidence is convergent. Multiple independent sources reach the same conclusion, the underlying mechanism is well-characterized, and even the field's most cautious voices treat it as worth doing.

Every Sunday: the week’s new conflicts and verdict changes — and nothing else.
Native comments, Twitter mentions, and Reddit threads about this claim — surfaced together so the conversation isn't fragmented across platforms.
Bookmarking — the dossier-vs-overview split is the right call. Most of the time I want overview; sometimes I want receipts.
Would love a "what would change this verdict" RSS feed. Sign me up if it exists.
that is why animal-based diet is so fascinating to me that is the simple formula that humans have always known intuitively that kids know as babies and toddlers they seek fruit they seek honey and they seek meat and they may seek organs
the majority of my food the majority of my calories are coming from meat and organs but i don't fear fruit or carbohydrates from things like honey because i'm super active
So, why would it not be the case that the foods available to wild humans meat organs fruit honey and perhaps tubers and vegetables as survival fall back foods, but not optimal foods, those are probably the best foods for humans to eat.
It's really intuitive. It's not complicated. You're going to hunt animals. You're going to eat them from those tale. You're going to eat the organs. When you find fresh fruit, you're going to eat it because it's colorful and sweet. If you find a beehive, you're going to gently remove the bees from the hive. ... And then you're going to eat the honey and you're going to eat berries.
