what I'm describing is a very different form of journaling than say morning notes which is a form of journaling that writers often use in order to quote unquote clear out the Clutter this is a process of sitting down and writing down in stream of consciousness whatever's on your mind for the first 5 to 15 maybe even 30 minutes every morning as a way to sort of clear out your mental processes and get ready for the day perhaps a day of other forms of writing or other activities entirely what I'm describing is also distinctly different from so-called gratitude journaling in fact it's quite the opposite
