vulnerability factors is an element of that chain analysis so say for example you know you were in treatment with me and one of the things we were working on is is this target behavior of you um uh exploding in anger at you know various um points we would identify what a recent occasion in which that happened and then we would do an assessment of what were all the factors events thoughts behaviors that led up to that behavior and then what were the consequences of that behavior that would be the chain that we assess as a way of identifying okay well what can we modify in this chain going forward to make it less likely that that problem behavior is going to show up again
