it changes their emotional state it changes the way that they form new connections in their neurons in a negative way what we actually see with serotonin is that we need serotonin to make new connections in the brain and that that by increasing the amount of serotonin in the synapse which is what the drugs do and I'll go into that we may be making the the neuronal collect connections more plastic but that probably isn't what we want to do in the right way and so we're we're definitely playing with fire with these medications
