And through a recognition that these categorizations exist similar to the recognition that the type A, B, C, and D infant and toddler type attachments exist, that we can gain better self-awareness of who we are and how we tend to show up in romantic attachments, and thereby navigate healthier mate seeking, healthier breakups, if the case dictates it, and in some cases healthy long-term relationships by understanding that the other person can either be similar or complimentary to us.
