There are statistics on the amount of people in our society who are metabolically healthy. And I've quoted these in the past, but in case you guys are not aware, we are talking about 88% of the population with at least one abnormal metric that might be indicative of something called metabolic syndrome. This could be one of any of the following: high triglycerides, uh low HDL, high blood pressure, waist-to-hip circumference, etc.
and much of the population has at least one of these metrics suggesting that the majority of the population is on the diabetes train
