I I should be careful by saying oxidative stress because that's really only true if if it's gotten out of control so it has more of an oxidative result but if we have the proper environment and mechanisms in place that will be dealt with appropriately and it's good because reactive oxygen species in my opinion get they get a really bad rep because this is cellular signaling our mitochondria are the Hub of cellular communication and this reactive oxygen species are telling our body what happens like in order to produce vitamin D we need to induce you know oxidative production at the cellular level and that Cascade of effects occurs and it's like okay let's produce melanin you know let's produce vitamin D as a result of that exposure to this high energy light and the same thing all light is going to induce some radical production but the higher energy the wavelength the higher amount and it's the same thing like you could you know say that the reactive oxygen species generated from infrared light exposure uh maybe what's kicking off the cellular signal to then produce melatonin to clean it all up it's not necessarily a bad thing it's it's signals that we've evolved with and been been a part of our existence for millions of years as preh homedes hundreds of thousands of years as Homo sapiens oxidative stress gets a bad WAP because oxidative stress is referring to an imbalance between oxidation and reduction we have both processes happening in our bodies but if we completely quote quench all of the free radicals in our body we die we need reactive oxygen species to signal so this is not a bad thing and and this is some of my hesitation with some of these you know things like supplements yeah supplements you know over supplementing with antioxidants um I'll have to have somebody on the future on in the future to talk about hydrogen water but the you know it's like at a certain level I have questions about this you don't want to get rid of all of the oxidants you know all of the reactive oxygen species in your body your mitochondria won't work without reactive oxygen species it's about a balance as everything is
