They need NAD to work
The evidence is convergent. Multiple independent sources reach the same conclusion, the underlying mechanism is well-characterized, and even the field's most cautious voices treat it as worth doing.
They need NAD to work
Every Sunday: the week’s new conflicts and verdict changes — and nothing else.
Native comments, Twitter mentions, and Reddit threads about this claim — surfaced together so the conversation isn't fragmented across platforms.
Bookmarking — the dossier-vs-overview split is the right call. Most of the time I want overview; sometimes I want receipts.
Would love a "what would change this verdict" RSS feed. Sign me up if it exists.
when we're thinking about the sirtuins they that you said something really important that I want to highlight for people they sense nad levels it's not so much the ratio between nav and NADH but they're they're there nad sensors so when any D levels are high those sirtuins can be active is that correct
basically only saying that nad is necessary for sirtuins to work
certainly sirtuins are a class of nad dependent mostly deacetylases they also can do some other um activities but but basically one way to think about it is that sirtuins take acetyl groups off of other proteins that's their activity and that that requires nad and it actually consumes nad
so sirtuins are nad dependent enzymes right so they need nad to do their action
ne D is also required to activate a very important family of time's involved in longevity called sirtuins
