Um there's enzymes called certuins that use NAD. Um they very often remove a small modification on protein lysines. So acetil modifications on lysines, asil groups on lysines, suanil groups on lysines. That's usually something to do with enzyme regulation, gene regulation. As you said, classically, there's a lot of gene silencing that is done with with uh this this reaction.
