Wild humans know that animal organs and meat are the optimal foods and seek them preferentially.
The evidence is convergent. Multiple independent sources reach the same conclusion, the underlying mechanism is well-characterized, and even the field's most cautious voices treat it as worth doing.

Every Sunday: the week’s new conflicts and verdict changes — and nothing else.
Native comments, Twitter mentions, and Reddit threads about this claim — surfaced together so the conversation isn't fragmented across platforms.
Bookmarking — the dossier-vs-overview split is the right call. Most of the time I want overview; sometimes I want receipts.

Meat and organs are still the center of my diet, and they are the most nutrient-dense foods for humans.
contemporary hunter gatherers eat all of these
we're going to eat it from nose to tail which is why the organs are so important either fresh or desiccated and then if we see a piece of brightly colored sweet fruit we're going to go eat that and if we find a beehive we're gonna find somebody in the tribe who can make a fire and smoke the bees out and we're gonna eat all this honey
the most sought after foods in this situation throughout your evolution are meat and organs
if you look at any hunter gatherer or culture in the world which i think is is a valuable it's a valuable sort of indication for us like what have humans done for thousands of years tens of thousands of years hundreds of thousands of years of homo sapiens and pre-pre-human hominids we've always eaten the organs and anyone who spent time with hunter-gatherers knows that they treasure the organs
meat and organs eating the animal from nose to tail and the fat that that is what sustains us in terms of nutrient density
all animals all hunter-gatherer tribes go for the organs first that's what I saw when I was at the hadza in Tanzania in 2021.
so yes organs are essential in the human diet they are never left out of any other gather or Diet
our ancestors have always always eaten these Foods so I kind of knew like there's got to be something unique about these Foods there's never been a culture of hunter-gatherers or really a historical culture of humans it's been studied that doesn't eat the organs and usually eat them first and celebrate them
