the more bi which is so if an animal consumes 20 plants 50 plants or 100 plants on a pasture animals grazing monoculture pastures which unfortunately is is all too often sort of the decay is pastures and uh we're doing on-farm research and uh on one of the farm there's a lot of buyer different and then you look at the farm next door and it's may uh well by the house august but in may the past year was already overgrazed and that grazed down and uh lucky buy it over swords so that grass-fed meat which can also label grass for deed is much less phytochemically rich than the animals raised on biodiverse forests so grass-fed beef isn't grass with beefs and grass or beef there's huge variation and then but even if you compare it to uh animals finished in a feedlot on a grain base they have the lowest amount of phytochemicals
the the actual phytonutrients or the the micronutrients composition of this meat is going to be very different
as we see with the animals too if the animals are able to select a wider array of plants on pasture they end up with a higher amount and wider variety of phytochemicals in what i think is particularly unique with animals is and why that can be used way of increasing the phytochemicals in our diet is because animals could consume vegetation that you and i cannot consume right
