but that stearic acid is found in animal foods predominantly sure if you're in the tropics you could get some if you're eating cacao but nobody's doing that evolutionarily you can't really get cacao butter out of cacao very easily i don't think we were getting a lot of cacao evolutionarily i think we were mostly getting stearic acid in the fat of animals specifically the suet the kidney fat is very high in stearic acid
