But the cholesterol piece is really the crux of a lot of this because what happens to most of us or many of us is that when we shift the fat in our diet and we eat more saturated fat consistent with the way that humans have presumably been eating for hundreds of thousands of years um when we lower the polyunsaturated fats and we raise the saturated fat many of us do find that the apo goes up um concordantly or at the same time triglycerides usually go down HDL usually goes up so we don't see metabolic dysipidemia we just see LDL go up.
