it's always one broad category like fat right fat is bad and I don't know carbohydrates are good and then there's an evolution of that understanding oh there are different types of fat like saturated and monounsaturated and polyunsaturated and then for a while polyunsaturated fats were you know just good before we even understood that there were omega-3 fats and omega-6 fats and then you know now there's at least more of an understanding of Omega-3 seems to be protective omega-6 fats seem to be bad and it's the same for cholesterol first just it was all about total blood cholesterol and then there was an understanding of HDL and LDL and now there's more of an understanding of oxidized LDL
