if you expose a mouse to high fat food not food that they would normally eat food that is like 60 fat high fat it's like butter um we've learned that if you expose them to food like that within two weeks their nucleus accumbens is not functioning like a mouse that was never exposed to that high fat food there's aspects of it that are hyperactive I could say and there's aspects of it that are hypoactive or decreased activity but either way it's it's not functioning properly and most likely that function is predisposing continued behavior
