There's many reasons why omega- omega-3 fatty acids are beneficial for cardiovascular health. At the top of the list would be inflammation. So, you know, inflammation is a driver of heart disease. It's a driver of atheroscerosis. And omega-3 fatty acids are in my view the most potent naturally occurring dietary compound that has anti-inflammatory effects and it has it through a variety of ways.
