an animal-based diet is a term that I've sort of used to describe a diet that I think is more inclusive and has more variety with organs and meat but also fruit honey and raw dairy I think of these as probably the foods that our ancestors ate most commonly in their hunter-gatherer days potentially a good starting point for people less restrictive than a carnivore diet but I think also very nutrient rich and very low in the plant toxins that are common in vegetables
