When you increase serotonin in your brain because you won't let it be vacuumed out by the normal mechanisms that clear it from your brain, then it has the opportunity to be there longer and it has the opportunity to go into the dopamine terminals. This is something we know. The the mechanisms that suck dopamine out of the spaces of your brain um will also bind to serotonin and suck it out. Not quite as well because it's tuned. It's called a dopamine transporter.
