I think it probably is the duration of the trip.
The headline is broadly defensible, but the qualifications matter. Effect sizes vary by population, the strongest claims rest on shorter trials, and credible voices push back on how it's typically framed.
I think it probably is the duration of the trip.
Every Sunday: the week’s new conflicts and verdict changes — and nothing else.
Native comments, Twitter mentions, and Reddit threads about this claim — surfaced together so the conversation isn't fragmented across platforms.
Bookmarking — the dossier-vs-overview split is the right call. Most of the time I want overview; sometimes I want receipts.
Would love a "what would change this verdict" RSS feed. Sign me up if it exists.
LSD is too long that's right that people need to go home people need to go home the technicians need to go and LSD is a long ride it's a long ride so the the thing about cybin is that the you know the sort of Journey the trip is you know somewhere on the order of anywhere from you know 3 to 7 hours which can fit into a reason able work day for a technician clinician um and LSD can be many many hours longer
when I was growing up you know as you know it was against the law right so that what I learned is that the that there are far fewer clinical trials exploring the use of LSD as a therapeutic because with the exception of Switzerland none of the researchers are willing to stay in the laboratory as long as it takes for the subject to get through an LSD Journey whereas psilocybin tends to be a shorter a shorter experience
Most of the studies on LSD clinical trials that is are done in Switzerland. Um because the LSD trip can last up to 13 hours and they'll work very long hard hours. In the United States, it's hard to get the the staff to come in 2 hours before a 4 to 8 hour psilocybin session and then make sure that the person is okay enough and taken care enough to go.
