But what Amy found in her lab was a certain factor called GDF11, that goes down as you age. And it appears that maybe there are factors that pull the GDF11 out of circulation, maybe there are antibodies made for them, the factors. And if you give GDF11 to older mice, it seems to have all the benefits that this blood exchange has, this young blood has.
