I previously shared that my sauna protocol has restored my vascular function and blood flow to levels typical of a healthy 20–25 year old.
The evidence is convergent. Multiple independent sources reach the same conclusion, the underlying mechanism is well-characterized, and even the field's most cautious voices treat it as worth doing.

Every Sunday: the week’s new conflicts and verdict changes — and nothing else.
Native comments, Twitter mentions, and Reddit threads about this claim — surfaced together so the conversation isn't fragmented across platforms.
Bookmarking — the dossier-vs-overview split is the right call. Most of the time I want overview; sometimes I want receipts.

1.5 Hours Post-Sauna: Peak Arterial Elasticity and Vascular Compliance Peripheral and central blood pressure return to near baseline. + Biological age: <20 + Central blood pressure: 92 mmHg (lower than 91% of healthy males under 20) + Peripheral blood pressure: Lower than 94% of healthy males under 20.
Immediately after sauna, until the end of the morning routine (post-IHHT): central and peripheral blood pressure trough Peripheral (brachial) blood pressure drops significantly: 13% reduction in systolic and 20% reduction in diastolic blood pressure.
Sauna has significantly improved my vascular and endothelial function, blood flow, and circulation. Tracking my blood pressure and central pulse variables indicates blood pressure reductions and improved blood flow.
Following 49 sauna sessions: central pulse pressure at the end of my morning routine, immediately after the sauna: + Augmentation index: AIx of -5% + AP pressure: of -1 mmHg.
My vascular function improved by a ten year reduction in age. Now I have the vascular age of an elite 18-early 20s.
> 10+ years reduction of my vascular age and functional improvement (central pressure markers showing increased vascular elasticity and compliance)
I think with this drop, it's down to like early 20s as a vascular.
So, we have here the measurement from baseline and then we have a measurement with seven sessions. And you see for example in central blood pressure there was a s almost a 6% improvement. I started at 103 and after seven sessions was down to 97. Uh central pulse pressure went down from 28 to 22 a 21% improvement.
But the good news is my blood pressure and my vascular health improved a lot. My arteries became 25 to 50% more flexible, effectively deaging them by about 10 years and giving me the vascular markers of a healthy 20-year-old.
After 23 sessions, my cardiovascular results also continued to improve. Central pressure readings were down significantly, putting even less pressure on my organs, and my resting heart rate, a major marker for recovery and fitness, had dropped by 4.4%.
4–7 sauna sessions per week, 20 minutes at 80°C+, reduce cardiovascular mortality risk by 40% over a decade.
Regular sauna use raises BDNF and improves verbal memory in older adults.
Sauna protocols only generate the longevity effect when sessions exceed 30 minutes.
Hot-tub bathing yields cardiovascular benefits comparable to traditional Finnish sauna at matched core-temp dose.
