animal models suggest that linoleic acid could also be causing dysbiosis studies such as this one and animal models are what i would draw that conclusion from they're saying that omega-3 fish oil attenuates omega-6 polyunsaturated fatty acid-induced dysbiosis and infectious colitis so in these animal models they can induce dysbiosis and colitis with omega-6 polyunsaturated fats but it impairs lps dephosphorylation causing sepsis so using fish oil to treat omega-6 cause problems didn't result in good things in animal models
