serum levels of linoleic acid probably are not a great indicator long term of overall linoleic acid consumption presumably because some of that linoleic acid can become oxidized into the oxy lipids which we're going to talk about a little bit in this podcast i talked about it previously with tucker goodrich on this podcast but if linoleic acid gets oxidized into 4h and e 9 and 13 hold then then you're going to see less linoleic acid in the blood and so serum or plasma levels of linoleic acid are probably not good correlates for chronic illness serum levels are probably just not not good correlates for consumption but adipose tissue levels are
