another video I did talking about seed oils as a driver of macular degeneration based on multiple observational studies which clearly links seed oil consumption with macular degeneration was flagged and taken down on Tick Tock
The evidence is convergent. Multiple independent sources reach the same conclusion, the underlying mechanism is well-characterized, and even the field's most cautious voices treat it as worth doing.

Every Sunday: the week’s new conflicts and verdict changes — and nothing else.
Native comments, Twitter mentions, and Reddit threads about this claim — surfaced together so the conversation isn't fragmented across platforms.
Bookmarking — the dossier-vs-overview split is the right call. Most of the time I want overview; sometimes I want receipts.

if you look at the observational studies with seed oils and macular generation you will find that seed oils are consistently associated with higher levels of macular degeneration in humans
I have done tons of podcasts on seed oils talking about why these are harmful for humans and so you can look at the mechanistic reasons there'll be more of that coming with Georgie tinkov in the future but I have many podcasts and why seed oils are harmful and many podcasts including the podcast from I believe one or two weeks ago talking about seed oils with regard to cardiovascular disease and well the macula is the back of the eye it's a very vascular part of the body so is it reasonable to think that seed oils are leading to atherosclerosis or leading to oxidized LDL and increased LP little a very strong risk factors for atherosclerotic progression that this could lead to macular generation yes it all makes sense
this correlation between seed oil consumption and macular degeneration is very strong and is compelling it certainly begs the it's a very strong hypothesis now these are all correlations there's no there's no data no one's ever done a study where they gave people seed oils and look for macular generation
