If you were to eat peptides in most cases, but not all, they would just get broken down into your stomach into the compositional amino acids like protein does. ... But for the most part, you have to inject these with a needle into your body on a daily basis or every couple of days depending on the dosing protocol. And there's a lot of concerns here, guys. Regardless, the market for peptides is exploding. Everyone is talking about this. But broadly speaking, there are some pretty major concerns. If you're using a peptide that is not FDA approved, gray market, from a website that is not FDA approved, there are some striking concerning statistics to consider here before we even get into specific peptides. The peptides arrive as powders from Chinese factories stamped for research purposes only. And nobody's using them for research purposes. They're actually using them and injecting them in their body. Sketchy. The FDA tested products from online suppliers. And more than 40% of those, almost half of what's out there online is the wrong dose or contaminated ingredients. That's super scary. A 2024 study of injectable semaglutide bought online showed purity rates as low as 7%, which means 93% of what people were injecting was not semiglutide. That is bad.
