and I think that there's becoming this knee-jerk reaction your LDL is high you're going on a statin well in my opinion that's that's a disservice to the patient and the physician though they may be very intelligent and well intention is not considering all of the risk factors nor all of the data points which would it go much beyond the cholesterol as you're saying to give a real sense of what someone's overall picture looks like

they just basically do a lipid panel and a basic metabolic panel that's what happens you get a you know a CBC a complete blood count you get a basic metabolic panel and you get a lipid panel that's it and they want to make a decision about statins or drugs drugs maybe not a Statin for this person based on that
