that is primarily within Western cultures right and so the idea here is that this is probably or potentially reflecting healthy user bias when we're looking at epidemiology we cannot infer causality this correlation is not equal to causation a correlation between an increased consumption of red meat and a shorter life span does not mean that red meat causes a shorter life span
