what you can learn from powerlifters is that Progressive overload one in terms of weight on the bar but nobody's able to increase weight on the bar forever that that's just it's not going to happen and the the longer you get into it the more nonlinear it's going to be it's going to be you're going to go down and come up and go down and come back up um but but there's also other ways to progressively overload uh one being more repetitions um and the other being adding more hard sets
