Also it increases um it's been shown in human studies to very powerfully increase glutathione in both the plasma and the brain. And that's also through the NRF2 pathway. It activates the powerful antioxidant pathway.
The evidence is convergent. Multiple independent sources reach the same conclusion, the underlying mechanism is well-characterized, and even the field's most cautious voices treat it as worth doing.

Every Sunday: the week’s new conflicts and verdict changes — and nothing else.
Native comments, Twitter mentions, and Reddit threads about this claim — surfaced together so the conversation isn't fragmented across platforms.
Bookmarking — the dossier-vs-overview split is the right call. Most of the time I want overview; sometimes I want receipts.

This makes sulforaphane potentially effective for preventing brain aging and addressing dysfunction in traumatic brain injury, Alzheimer's, and other neurodegenerative diseases involving oxidative stress.
Almost all of the trials, in fact, all of the trials that have been published to date, and when I counted them the other day, they were about 30, I think, publications on clinical trials with sulforaphane or broccoli sprouts, all of them have had positive effects to one degree or another with one exception and that was, unfortunately, a large trial on COPD, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease, that we were involved with that just didn't show an effect.
We already have some evidence that sulfurophane can have a positive effect on other conditions of the brain in humans such as autism. We also have evidence that sulfurophane can lower biomarkers of inflammation also in humans and we know that inflammation is directly linked to depression. For the aforementioned reasons, it seems very plausible that sulfurophane may have a similar effect on depression and anxiety in humans.
And all sorts of cancer prevention studies Alzheimer's disease in animals, I mean, lots of animal studies. But I couldn't really find any lifespan studies and I was looking specifically for drosophila or c elegans or something, and I came across this paper that was published in red flour beetle or something.
how sulfur roofing has been shown to have a positive effect on glucose regulation on inflammation on glutathione levels on brain function cancer incidents and so much more in humans
there has been clinical studies that it increase increases glutathione in the plasma and in the brain
i just keep seeing animal study after animal studies showing you know a positive effect on sulforaphane uh with sulforaphane on alzheimer's disease
