a diet rich in cla and butter increases lipid peroxidation but does not affect atherosclerotic inflammatory or diabetic risk markers in young healthy men basically they supplemented them with super physiologic amounts of cla they gave them 115 grams per day of cla rich fat which may account into 5.5 grams of cla oil in that which is a lot of cla um a significant amount that's probably in addition to some linoleic acid and they found that it resulted in increase per oxidation measured as an 83 percent higher eight isoprostaglandin f2 which is also known as f2 isoprostane concentration compared with the control and that was a p of less than .0001 pretty significant
