What happened was there was this rise in cardiovascular disease in America. And there was this thought that saturated fat and fat was the bad guy. And this was the McGovern Report in the '70s that went on to be the dietary guidelines, that went on to be the food pyramid. And the food pyramid essentially told us that fat was the enemy. So it's only at the very tippy top, fats and oils sparingly. Bottom of the pyramid was 6 to 11 servings of bread, rice, cereal and pasta a day.
