so there's a lot of talk right now in the health space about longevity and the main I would say the main Paradigm that the mainly accepted idea is that the way to live a long time is to eat as little as possible to fast as much as possible to not eat meat and the amino acids that are abundant in meat like methionine right and then many people in in what I consider to be kind of a Brazen fashion go so far as to suggest kind of I don't know they suggest medications like metformin like everyone should be on Metformin and rapamycin and for people don't know this is the third podcast we've done and I'll link to the first two but listening to a lot of your your stuff and your ideas I thought oh this would be a good place to start with Georgie so let's just start with your perspective on that longevity strategy and then maybe we can talk about fasting and we can talk about metformin because these are all the rage today and I think that there's an important counter position to consider there
