the gap between stimulus and response and if you identify that Gap well then goodness you're going to be the kind of person that can feel feel stressed but not be reactive you're going to be responsive not reactive that's just a bunch of words that doesn't here I'm a biologist so I'll just say doesn't take into account the fact that the biology of stress changes your perception of time and a whole bunch of other things that basically make that gap between stimulus and response much much smaller
