so we have another here finding that kind of goes against the the the you know the the story of the day which is that uh the rate of living theory that if you if you if you increase your metabolism it's actually going to lead to reduced lifespan because you know they're saying it's it's the analogous with the candle you know the heart of the candle burns the faster it's going to consume itself and then basically that's you know you're going to end up expiring earlier so this study found out that that's probably not the case because when you actually uh increase the metabolic rate these people became healthier now of course because the study only lasted three months you can't really make a claim that it's going to extend lifespan but at the very realities by their biomarkers it was the exact opposite of what the rate of living theory predicts I mean these people's longevity biomarkers um and the most reliable of those are some of the inflammatory ones that we know about especially the interleukins like one and six they drastically decline so these people became healthier lost extra weight Etc
