Can someone please show me an interventional trial that shows harm for meat? Yeah, there are none.
The evidence is convergent. Multiple independent sources reach the same conclusion, the underlying mechanism is well-characterized, and even the field's most cautious voices treat it as worth doing.

Every Sunday: the week’s new conflicts and verdict changes — and nothing else.
Native comments, Twitter mentions, and Reddit threads about this claim — surfaced together so the conversation isn't fragmented across platforms.
Bookmarking — the dossier-vs-overview split is the right call. Most of the time I want overview; sometimes I want receipts.
Would love a "what would change this verdict" RSS feed. Sign me up if it exists.
so where is the actual interventional data that meat is bad for us it doesn't exist right it doesn't exist in the scientific literature
the interesting thing is that interventional studies with meat have been done and i talk about these in the book any guesses what they show it's not harmful
when you look at the real interventional studies you see that meat is not harmful for humans at all
there is no evidence that meat is harmful for humans it's very clear it's extremely clear that that meat is actually quite good for humans and improves so many of these outcomes so here's the last study and then i'll let you respond this is isocaloric diets high in animal or plant protein reduce liver fat and inflammation in individuals with type 2 diabetes joel if what you're saying is true and we can look at the abstract you're welcome to look at the outcomes data here if what you're saying is true how is it possible that that you would have so many interventional studies in humans showing that in a prospective study with patients with type 2 diabetes diets high in either animal or plant protein reduce liver fat independent of body weight they reduce markers of insulin resistance they reduce hepatic necro inflammation how can you say that meat is harmful for humans and of course this study is also not damning plant protein and we can talk about my concerns with plants and we will at the second half of this podcast so there's clear evidence here that interventional trials with increased amounts of animal foods have benefit
which is again why we must advocate and highlight the actual interventional studies with meat which do not show harm
when we look at the interventional data with meat that there doesn't seem to be a large problem with meat when it is included in the human diet
I want people to understand that meat won't hurt you, and it's good for you, and it allows you to thrive. It should be the center of your diet along with organs.
