so yes you can Sprout it that will decrease some of the problems but saponins are not created by heat they're still going to be there even if you sprout the grain so people will say what if I Sprout the oats what if I ferment the oats well fermentation of the oats will help with phytic acid somewhat but it won't help with the saponins and heating won't help with the saponins from oats or quinoa
you have to ferment it you have to put it in warm water with an acidic substance whether it's whey or lemon juice maybe some raw milk for multiple days but that will significantly decrease many of the problems with oatmeal it won't get rid of the heavy metals and it won't get rid of the saponins but it will get rid of the phytic acid
So you can get rid or decrease the phytic acid in oats significantly, but you're going to have to ferment them for days. I'm talking 3 to 4 days, 98 degrees Fahrenheit, give or take for pH, so it's an acidic pH. Nobody's doing that. And when you do that, believe me, because I've tried, they taste so horrible and they're so nasty and fermented and goopy.
