I think that one of the my one of my hypotheses is that plants can trigger the immune system directly by offering lectins and sort of these these foreign molecules that are not seen
The evidence is convergent. Multiple independent sources reach the same conclusion, the underlying mechanism is well-characterized, and even the field's most cautious voices treat it as worth doing.

Every Sunday: the week’s new conflicts and verdict changes — and nothing else.
Native comments, Twitter mentions, and Reddit threads about this claim — surfaced together so the conversation isn't fragmented across platforms.
Bookmarking — the dossier-vs-overview split is the right call. Most of the time I want overview; sometimes I want receipts.
Would love a "what would change this verdict" RSS feed. Sign me up if it exists.
Many of the things I think that are triggering it are these plant molecules whether they're oxalates plant pesticides or lectins
throughout Evolution plants are stationary and they have evolved defense mechanisms they have evolved natural pesticides to keep animals like humans and other animals that eat plants away from them there are many there are thousands of pesticides plants as well as other toxins like tannins phytoalexin all sorts of things like this which can be very toxic to humans when we eat them
and this idea that plants are not wanting to get eaten and you have to be very careful when you're eating plants and this oxalate thing is so fascinating
I think all plants have lectins and so that's important to notice
there are lots of toxins in plants whether it's oxalates or other lectins or other plant defense molecules which are called phyto alexinnz like tannins are actually phyto alexinnz and a lot of polyphenolic molecules which we've been told by the mainstream media are are beneficial for us are actually plant defense molecules that if you look hard enough are hurting us
could be these phyto elections could be lectins which are carbohydrate binding proteins which can trigger the immune system could be oxalates there are lots of plant toxins even outside of plant chemicals that are you know fight oh Alexis you know these collectives and oxalates as well
whether it's lectins oxalates probably phenols whatever is triggering our gut to be hyper permeable triggering the immune system on the other side of the gut membrane or in the lamina propria or you know other things in plants which are just activating our immune system systemically
there are also tannins polyphenols which can damage DNA there are many of these other toxins there's oxalates there are so many toxins isothiocyanates these are all plant defense chemicals and they can be triggering to people in different ways
i talk about oxalates and lectins and salicylates and i talk about all kinds of things like that that are harming us isothiocyanates which
like the more di problems you're having often from plant toxins like lectins and oxalates together
